Hello I have a question. I love the instyler. It is a wonderful invention. The question is, How do you hold it when you are doing the back of your hair? With other stylers you can hold the top thus being able to use both hands. With the instyler you can't use both hands so it is hard to flip it under because I can't keep a tight grip on it with one hand. On the video with the lady with short hair Dean was doing the styling on the back as well with the other girls. Please help me with this. This product is the only one that I have found that really brings my fine thin hair to life. You just can't hold on to it because the end is a rotating end. Thank you so much for your time.

That's a very interesting question about holding the Instyler while doing the back of your head. Is it just as easy to use for the back of our heads as it is for the front, or side?

I'm Kisha. I am biracial. My hair is super wild. I am wondering how well the Instyler works on mixed hair? As many biracial people know our hair is not white nor is it black, its a cross between and pretty much mess. How well will it work on my hair? Kisha

To do the back, I hold the section of hair straight up or straight out as I would do with a flat iron. It still falls into place. Try viewing somee users' youtube videos.

I have a short A line bob. The hair at the back in the nape of my neck is very short. What is the shortest strand of hair that i can straighten with the instyler?

It seems everyone using the InStyler is right -handed...
How will it work using it left-handed?
Won't the barrel spin in the wrong direction?
I am left-handed and would have to hold it in my left hand...
and would like to curl under my fine hair to give it lift and volume..
Has anyone tried it left-handed?
Thanks...
edyjo

This has been a total lifesaver for me...I am right-handed and broke my right wrist, resulting in my arm being in a cast for 5 weeks. Thanks to In-Styler I was able to style my own hair (it's down to mid-back and extremely wavy)...I was able to straighten it without any problems!!! Thank you SOOOO MUCH!!! It exceded my expectations!

I want the instyler but I'm not sure if it would be good with my hair. Really curly and frizzy.

I and my daughter are both left handed. How well this work for us? We would really like to get this product it looks so great and seems like it works wonderfully.
But, being that almost everyhting is made for a right handed person we are just wondering how we would be able to use this product and get great results also..

My mother in law showed me hers while I was vacating in Florida. I fell in love it immediately. She did my hair with it and I loved how it looked. I ordered my own right then and there and is was afew days after we arrived home I had mine. I use it just about everyday and I totally like how my hair looks. I am doing things with my baby fine hair that I thought could only be done by professionals. Thanks for creating such a great product!

Linda and Edyjo, the InStyler is designed to work equally well for both right and left-handed users. The direction of the barrel rotation does not matter. Enjoy!

Dear InStyler and bloggers,
Hey all, I have long hair that just kinda hangs...when it's not I "can" make it pretty when it is curly but the next time I do something with it, it turns wild and frizzy! Could this product work in "my" hair?...and is it really as easy to use as it looks and sounds?
Posted by: Morgan | March 28, 2009 at 08:47 AM
Antoinette, the InStyler works very well on extensions as long as they are real human hair (which you have), and not synthetic.
We have a great video that shows how to use the InStyler on real human hair extensions... take a look: http://www.getinstyler.com/tips.html?vid=12#v

Hi from Trinidad,
I paid on line for my instyler on the 24th March and received it on the 9th of April which was very fast seeing that I am living in the caribbean. I tried it out that same night,I have long curly hair, it is the best, I am so happy, and it is very easy to use.
Thank you
instyle

Wow! I just received my In-Styler and I cannot belive how great my hair came out! I have naturally curly hair. First I had to flat iron it then I had to set it dry in velcro rollers for volume. I used the In-Styler and that was it! I truly cannot believe this! This is best product I ever purchased. Worth every penny! And the best part was, I put absolutely no styling products in my hair. A very first for me!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful product!
I love it!

hi Dean, well my name is Jay Delgado and i am from Phoenix, Arizona. My hair is always frizzy and has a lot of split ends. I've tried so many times with my flat iron to make my hair flat and not frizzy but it will not work. I get so frustrated that i dont bother doing anything with my hair anymore. I just have it in a ponytail all the time. I get no attention from the guys. Im always spending money at the salon for them to do my hair nice when I go out to parties. I cant do my hair with other pretty styles. All I can do is a ponytail. I want to learn to do it by myself and feel confident in my hair. I need your help please! I seen your comercials and it seems like the in styler can help, I hope.
